Abstract
This paper explores passenger views on electric aviation in Sweden. The study identifies factors that influence the demand and incorporates them into a demand model. A mixed- method approach, comprising a literature review, an expert workshop, a stated preference survey, and binary logit modeling, was adopted. The findings reveal that ticket price, travel time, environmental attitudes, and safety concerns significantly influence the demand. A scenario analysis is used to highlight market segments where electric aviation could be most viable. The results can be used by stakeholders such as airlines, airport authorities, and policymakers to support future infrastructure, service, and policy decisions.
