Abstract
The increasing use of drones has led to the development of the U-space regulatory framework to ensure safe and efficient integration into airspace. In this context, the U- ELCOME project has demonstrated a multi-USSP architecture enabling several service providers to operate simultaneously in the same U-space airspace. Real-world validations in Spain and Italy included over 1,000 flights across diverse environments and use cases. The results confirm the feasibility of this model, showing strong performance in safety, interoperability, and human factors. These findings support the deployment of scalable U-space services in Europe.
