Support to MSc students

Target Users

Among several actions, the Engage 2 project offers an unique opportunity for master students who are interested in working their master thesis on ATM.

The program aims at identifying a selection of motivated and talented students, and guide them from the planning of their thesis up to the post-graduation activities, by providing:

  • Assistance with thesis topic identification. Within a wide set of ATM areas the Engege 2 consortium offers a variety of fields of expertise which might inspire the work of the students.
  • Peer-review of technical content. Once the focus of the thesis has been identified and discussed, each student will be assigned to a mentor, who will guide its work by providing periodical feedback, contributing to the overall quality and completeness of the research.
  • Career path discussions. At the end of their work, students will have the chance to have a post-graduation career discussion with Engage 2 experts, with the aim of helping students to make informed decisions about their future endeavours and professional aspirations.

In addition, the program also aims at facilitating the students’ connection with professionals and at favouring future career opportunities. For this reason, during the program some of the Engage 2 students might potentially have the opportunity to obtain financial support for participating in the SESAR Innovation Days and in the Airspace World conferences, as well as the chance to do an internship with some of the CANSO members.
